I HATE THAT ZANGO THING ITS SO ANNOYING...try add/remove, if that doesnt work use SPYBOT..its the best
There are some free removal tools via a Google search, good luck.
This CAN be easily removed. Just hit your start button at the bottom left hand side of the screen and go to Control Panel, then Add/Remove Programs. Find the one labeled "Zango Search Tool" (or something similar). Click on change/remove and it will uninstall itself.
You may want to download a copy of HiJackThis! (which is free) and run that to clean up any little footprints it left behind. It will also pick out a lot of other stuff on your machine that may need to be removed. Since HJT doesn't differentiate between 'good' and 'bad' registry changes and running processes, you'll need to save a copy of the log and then post it online for someone in the know to review. There are a lot of people who can read the log and tell you what, exactly, should be removed. MajorGeeks.com I believe even has an entire forum devoted just to HJT logs.
