Do i need antiSpyware for my laptop?

im trying to figure out what antivirus to get and firewall, i think i pretty much got that figured out but now im wondering do i need antiSpyware? what is it and whats the best one to get (preferably free) thanks!!!!

Depending on your ISP, some offer free anti-virus and anti-spyware as part of the package, as does mine. So I run Norton, courtesy of BT.
