Is it safe to install windows Vista Home premium?

I received the free Windows Vista Home Premium upgrade disc when i purchased my computer back in november 2006 and ive been waiting to install vista onto my computer, the thing is i want to double check whether its safe to install vista around now because i keep hearing that its not good and it has alot of bugs and problems. Do you think i should install vista now? Is it safe? Also will programmes such as Norton Antivirus, Itunes, and World of warcraft work on vista?

Do you have a problem with XP? Is there any feature of Vista that you'd like to use? If not, stick with XP. There are still many kinks to be worked out on Vista, and Service pack 1 is still not out. If you have an Ipod, which if you use itunes I would assume you do, I wouldn't use vista. I had vista and I could not get my ipod to work for it, or my friends, so I had to go back down to xp to use it.
