A friend's gmail account was recently hacked by Nigerians, and it took google three or four days before they closed the account down. During that time the hackers were sending, receiving, and reading email. If that happened to me, hackers would easily gain access to most of my online banking via the password reset feature.
I have a strong randomly generated password and anti-spyware (of course), but I'd something more secure than gmail.
Ideal features include:
Visual keyboard to defeat keyloggers
Good history of quickly closing down hacked accounts
encryption of stored email (like hushmail)
I'm looking for a free secure webmail provider. Any suggests?nortin
I am sorry to have to tell you this but there are no secure emails if you use chat lines and answer scam and span emails.
The Internet is wide open to abuse by any thieves or abuse by the people that do not have a life of their own to be proud of.
