I have Windows Vista, and my LimeWire is behind a non-existent firewall. What should I do?

All of my firewalls are turned off or have LimeWire added as an exception. I don't have McAfee, or Norton, or anything else like that, but I do have Webroot Spy Sweeper, and Trend Micro AntiVirus 2007. I have no idea what the problem is, but my downloads are insanely slow. Is there anyone that can help me, or suggest a free alternative to LimeWire???

Try LimeWire Pro It usually cost 18.88 dollars but I purchased it and put it on a website because Limewire publicly stated before they even made pro "ALL FUTURE VERSIONS OF LIMEWIRE ARE FREEWARE" so i made it my business to make it that way. I have windows Vista and I didnt have to have my firewalls or anything taken down for that matter so this might help =). P.S You really shouldnt make exceptions for limewire in your firewall because it sometimes contains viruses but Pro has been scanned for every file! Have fun if u need any advice on tech support IM or Email me at cerealbottom@yahoo.com (lol dont ask)
I had this same problem when I first got Vista (like the day it came out). It wouldn't download at all, it would just sit on the same loading screen. I found out that McAfee was blocking it. So, look into that. Also I found a page on a forum that was helpful. http://forums.cnet.com/5208-12546_102-0....
