How to resize your pics with Irfanview:

1. File%26gt;Open select your image file

2. Image%26gt;Resize/Resample

3. In the Resize/Resample window, select "set new size as percentage of original" - here you can select a custom size

eg 200% for double the original size, or 76% or 191% etc

4. Or or the right hand size select one of the preset size options

eg "Double" or "Half"

5. Make sure in the size method, "resample" is selected

6. Click OK

7. The image is resized

8. If you want to save it over the original image file, (ie replace it), click on File%26gt;Save

9. If you want to save it as a separate image file, choose File%26gt;Save As

10. Specify a new file name if you want and select the type of file you want to save it as - most common formats are .bmp, .jpg, .png

11. Remember that this can increase the file size considerably
