Comp. virus help? what will it do to my computer if i dnt fix it?

my computer is infected, or at least i think it is (i've been getting pop ups that say i have a infection) i have antivirus but i'm not sure if it's working properly. it's an old laptop and i dont want to waste the money getting it fixed. is there any website that i can get rid of the virus for free? and what will it do to my computer if i dont fix it? (it says i have like trojanadclicker, trojan horses, stuff like that, spyware stuff

If you don't fix it it'll slow down your computer and could corrupt files depending on the severity of it. Downlaod AVG anitvirus.
use a free tool called smitFraudFix tool from Siri
Your computer is already infected. I hope you have backed up all your important documents.

The best thing for you to do now is to reformat your hard drive and start fresh.
